1. Who we are
PocketForge is developed and operated by Blacksmith Media. In these terms, “PocketForge,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Blacksmith Media and the PocketForge game and website.
2. Personal-use licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use PocketForge for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the rules of the platform where you obtained the game.
3. Acceptable use
You may not:
- copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit PocketForge;
- interfere with the game, website, security, or another person's use;
- use automated systems to overload or disrupt the website;
- remove ownership notices or falsely claim PocketForge content as your own; or
- use PocketForge in a way that violates applicable law.
This section does not restrict rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.
4. Game progress and resets
The current version stores progress locally on your device and does not provide an account or cloud-save service. You are responsible for your device and local save. A reset, app deletion, browser-data clear, device failure, or software change may result in permanent loss of progress. Support cannot recover data that was never sent to us.
5. Ownership
PocketForge, including its code, artwork, game systems, writing, names, and branding, is owned by Blacksmith Media or used under licence and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your licence to play does not transfer ownership to you.
6. Updates and availability
We may update, rebalance, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to improve or maintain PocketForge. We do not promise that every feature or web build will always be available, that progress values will never change, or that the game will work on every device or browser.
7. Disclaimers and liability
PocketForge is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blacksmith Media will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of PocketForge. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how PocketForge handles local game data, support messages, and website delivery.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a revised version here and changing the effective date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate. Continuing to use PocketForge after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
